Privacy policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit householdatlas.com (“Household Atlas”, “we”, “us”), how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what is needed to run, measure and fund a free website.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
- Usage information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or track you across sites. If we enable Google Analytics, it uses cookies and is subject to your consent where the law requires it.
- Advertising. See the next section.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Advertising and cookies
Household Atlas is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent management platform certified by Google before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link that the consent tool provides.
Your rights in U.S. states
Residents of California and other states with privacy laws can request access to or deletion of personal information and can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required, our consent tool shows a link to exercise your opt-out. You can also email us at the address below.
Your rights in the EEA and UK
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. We rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies and on legitimate interest for security and basic site operation. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Retention and security
Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Our providers retain technical logs according to their own policies. We use HTTPS across the site.
